Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Plano with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Texas may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.
No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. You can reach KING LOBSTER & SEAFOOD at (972) 918-3500; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, facebook.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 16 reviews, which is a strong result for a seafood market in Plano and suggests consistent service.
Plano is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Plano peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The price is reasonable and the ingredients are fresh. When I bought longan before, the owner even removed the branches, which was very thoughtful.

I purchased red snapper, Black Sea bass, and live blue crabs. Everything was fresh especially the crab. The meal turned out fantastic. The owners were very kind and attentive as well.

Nancy and her employees are a great help . They have a wide selection fresh and live fish , crab , lobster ,shrimp . I drove 45 minutes from Grapevine because my wife wanted lobster for her birthday . This is my go to fish market from now on!!

I stop by today and we bought some razor clams, clams, and Dungeness crabs and cook it at home. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. I thought it would be expensive since it’s an speciality store, but the prices are very reasonable.

dont buy things from here!! We bought a box of frozen seafood recently and after we thawed it, it stinks!! apparently the seafood has been dead forever before they froze it. Luckily we did not eat it, literally the whole house could smell it!!!!!
